BiBo is an Italian Pizzeria with two locations in the lower mainland. Their passion and dedication to their craft stems from their desire to share the feeling of family suppers at home in Italy, with their guests.

The Grand Re-Opening

BiBo temporarily closed to upgrade the heart of their location: the wood-oven where they make their delicious pizzas.

They had renovated the space with new colors and designs inspired by well-known attractions in Italy. In addition to the renovations, they also revamped their menu, with items made with ingredients from authentic Italian suppliers.

Their goal was to replicate a family-style dinner party to celebrate their re-opening.

Our Process
Bringing Italy to Vancouver

We worked closely with BiBo to curate a guest list of local food and lifestyle influencers, critics, food writers, and special guests from the Italian Chamber of Commerce. Each invitee received a customized invitation, asking them to join us for a taste of Italy in celebration of the re-opening.

To create some pre-event buzz, we worked with the client to issue a press release, and also worked with our sister company Daily Hive, to create a custom article highlighting the staff, key menu items, and the new upgrades within the restaurant.

The Campaign
Dinner Time

On opening night, we greeted guests alongside the owners and ushered them to a warm space filled with live music, a bustling bar, wood-oven pizza service with imported olive oils to sample, and a room long charcuterie table filled with only the finest Italy has to offer.

The restaurant received glowing reviews, like this one, from Vancouver’s David Peng, also known as @pickydiner, who called the experience “an incredible antipasti heaven”.
