Tourism Richmond reached out to us to help them generate interest in travel to Richmond among potential visitors from Seattle.

Their goal was to highlight the city’s incredible international cuisine, breathtaking waterfront views, unique galleries, and local cultural centers.

Our Process
Press Trip

We partnered Tourism Richmond with Seattle based travel & lifestyle blogger Marina Ramierez, to tap into her large Seattle following. Marina was able to experience a customized itinerary which she shared with her audience so they could follow along on her pacific northwest adventure.

Her stay encompassed a hotel and spa experience at local River Rock Casino & Resort. Marina spent her stay visiting local businesses like; Wild Sweets, an ice wine tour with Lulu Island Winery, a day at the Fisherman’s Warf, dinner restaurants like Origo Club, and taking in installations at Moon & Back gallery.

Marina and her photographer were able to capture unique Richmond Moments, that encompassed the magic of her stay.

These images were shared on Marina’s Instagram page, as 3 carousel posts, one for each day of her visit. Alongside an extensive story takeover, that Tourism Richmond was able to share live with their audience. Following her return home to Seattle, Marina shared a throwback post with her followers encouraging them to enjoy their own visit to Richmond, BC.
