VTech’s campaign goal was to promote their Holiday Giveaway hosted on Daily Hive’s Instagram pages and increase the amount of entries.

ID Agency arranged for 10 family-lifestyle influencers across Canada to post stories on Instagram spreading the news of the giveaway among their followers.


The Campaign
Extended Reach

The prize pack for the giveaway consisted of VTech & LeapFrog toys, a family getaway for four to Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler, BC, and a helicopter tour.

Influencers shared stories of their children playing with VTech toys while outlining details about the prize and encouraging their audience to visit Daily Hive’s Instagram to enter the giveaway.

ID scheduled stories between the 10 influencers over a 3 week period, alternating cities to give the campaign a pulsing effect. Each influencer posted a second story reminding their followers to enter if they hadn’t already.

Enrolling these influencers allowed VTech to spread the word about the giveaway by leveraging their reach, which increased the campaign’s total impressions by 40.1%.
